our approach to wellness

we believe that wellness is about remembering our human bodies as ancient vessels. when we connect with age-old practices that have nourished people for thousands of years, our bodies can ground and heal.

about us

after landing in the hospital in 2019, I was surprised to learn that my modern lifestyle was compromising my body's well-being. caught up in the day-to-day frenzy, I was leaving myself behind.

in search for healing, I found that being in touch with nature relaxed my mind and body, connecting with community gave me a deeper sense of belonging, and practicing yoga helped me stay present in the body. that's when I realized: for most of human history we've lived connected to the Earth, our bodies and communities. what brilliant and familiar tools to help us navigate modern stress and isolation!

from this, luna luz wellness was born--  to offer others opportunities to ground and decompress by drawing on ancestral wisdom. using evidence-based activities such as gardening, body and breath exercises, and shared dialogue in community, we ensure you receive a moment of respite, connection, and tools to regulate the nervous system.
